If you select the step file, make sure to reorient the holder so that the teardrop shape hole is facing the correct way!

Print 1 “Spool Holder” I suggest using paint on supports on the overhang where you will screw on metal spool holder that came with your printer

Print 3 “Retainer”s. This is because the weight of the spool will push down on the spool holder to the point where it might break if not supported; uses 3M VHB tape; otherwise you have to drill into side of printer.

1 roll of VHB tape (1mm thick) to hold the “Retainer”s to the side panel of the printer. It is imperative that whatever double sided tape is 1mm thick and is of good quality. You do not want the retainers to pop off months from now.

TWO M3 x 20 mm screws. To screw the spool holder to the back of the printer

TWO M3x8 mm screws. To screw the metal spool holder that came with printer to the 90degree printed spool holder

TWO M3 nuts to hold the M3x8 screws

0.4mm nozzle

PETG because it is ductile

25% infill, 6 perimeters
