Every section of this kit is configurable to fit the size and setup you want. Need a really long reach? More lift power? Higher base? Adult or kid sized, this is a very fun model to tweak the parameters on.

To make a full Sit-n-Scoop, you'll need to print these joints along with various lengths of 38mmx38mm (2"x2") wood (listed below).

What's Included:

This collection includes all of the 3D model joints needed to complete the Sit-n-Scoop

Additional hardware needed:

Lumber Needed:

The entire kit is constructed using only 2x2 lumber. You'll need at least four 8-foot boards, but it might be a good idea to pick up a few extra in case you make a wrong cut, or there are cracks/knots that you can't avoid.

Below is the suggested lengths to build a roughly-playground sized Sit-n-Scoop, but by all means: play around with the sizes and have some fun with it!

  • Pull arms: 2 x 18"
  • Base to Arm: 1 x 12"
  • Seat Top: 4 x 12"
  • Tetrahedron Base: 6 x 18"
  • Bottom Arm: 1 x 20"
  • Top Arm: 1 x 18"
  • Scoop Arm: 1 x 20"
