Cheap and simple VHF-/UHF-Yagis by DK7ZB, extreme lightweight for portable use
The boom is 25 mm PVC or Al pipe.
Elements are 3.2 mm Al welding rods. Reflector for 2m antenna is divided to 2 parts because is longer than 1m and is connected with screw terminal.
Radiator is 4mm brass welding rod.
