Made this for my sons room. Turned out way better than I thought it would. Designed specifically to use a 16.4ft RGBIC LED strip light. like this one:

I particularly like the Minger strips as they use Govee app. which has a ton of customization options for the strip lights.

Segments are designed to allow the strip to pass through at the halfway point. I actually placed the strip one cut point further down the strip from the exact halfway point. You can adjust it to your liking. just test fit the strip first.

12 segments are needed to be printed. They will require supports. for the overhangs.

I was able to optimize my settings to fit all 12 segments within a kilo of material. Yes it takes a lot. but I think well worth it.

Superglue the segments together, but save the last one till after you have mounted the strip lights.

Update: Added a smooth top option and a diffuser that can be printed in vase mode in white or clear.
