I had some leftover 3030 extrusions when I upgraded a Prusa MK3S to a Bear frame a number of years ago. I wanted to design something for my 3 streamdecks to mount to on my desk at a slight angle, not just a straight bar, and decided to design a handful of pieces.
These were inspired by, but not remixed from, several other “3030” models here on Printables.
The “wedge” pieces will join two extrusions at a 15-degree angle. I initially designed a T-connector for the ends and then decided to try some printed legs for stability instead. The “wedge” pieces have an angled slot on them for the ‘long’ and ‘short’ bars to fit into.
I printed these in Polymaker CF-PLA and Polyterra Charcoal PLA, and used M5 bolts to connect them to the extrusions.
These were all done at 3 or 4 perimeters but otherwise left everything as default settings, and enabled supports for the build plate only to handle the sunken screw holes.
As with all of my designs, I welcome feedback and suggestions to improve my work. Please send messages letting me know of any customizations you'd like.
