Tool to cut and bend wires for use in a breadboard.  To use the the tool:

  1. Count how many holes are between the two nodes you wish to connect (including the nodes themselves)
  2. Find the equivalent number on the tool.  Cut the wire to that length.
  3. Strip the wire using wire strippers
  4. Bend the wire by putting one end through the hole in the middle of the grove and the other on the end of the tool

In addition to the STL version is an OpenSCAD version to allow customization:

  • min_holes = Minimum number of holes for which the tool should be built
  • max_holes = Maximum number of holes for which the tool should be built
  • pitch = Distance between holes, in mm
  • strip_len = The amount of wire, per side, which your wire striper removes
  • fudge_factor = A bit of extra distance to make your life easier
