I wanted a simple air filtration system for my enclosure to help reduce odors and air born particulates from printing higher temp materials. This model is a mountable cage for a 120x32mm radial blower fan and a 5"x5"x1" square filter. It is meant to recycle the air within the enclosure to maintain the heat.
Not perfect but it works. Clips for routing the cable across the top are from Original Prusa i3 MK3 ENCLOSURE -Ikea Lack table - Prusa Research.
Parts:
- Fan: Variable speed 120mm blower fan (Amazon)
- HEPA Filter: 5" square HEPA filter (Amazon)
- Fasteners: #6 x ¾" wood screws (try a M3 or M4 x 20mm for metric)
Printing
- No supports
- Recommend PETG (I used Prusament Carmine Red Transparent)
- 100% infill
- 0.2mm or 0.15mm layer height
