A basic tool for estimating the radius/diameter of a sphere/ball. Not very good though so if you print this I warned you

This was meant to be a sphere radius measurement device, but it's not very precise . . . though it is good for making estimates!

Printing

I used 0.20mm layer height for everything, but I think using 0.10mm might make the text and numbers more legible. Watch for layer changes in the slabs that can be used to make text more visible.

Assembly

Simple snap/press together. You can anchor the slabs to the platform with some filament if you want.

Example

The marble has a radius of 25mm (diameter of 50mm).

Close enough. Yes I know the print quality is trash lol

The Wood Ball (lol) has a diameter of 1.5 inches

Again, close enough.

Confession

Just buy a caliper

Sincerely,

Lazlo
