At the beginning we would pull the plug each time we didn't need the kettle, but we recently added an appliance in front of the outlet making it more difficult to plug and unplug the kettle. By adding this spacer, we don't need to anymore. Also fits perfectly the handle to not have this lying around.
Printed with PETG for more heat resistance would probably also work in PLA. For a quick print use the 025 mm layer height, but if you want something smoother, you can use a smaller layer height.
