I have been meaning to design a better mount for the Amico task light I use at my dining table for working on projects and painting miniatures. The stock mount was kind of a pain to use and is made of an aluminum extrusion that no one deburred so it is super sharp. I tried finding something on Printable that would work or could be modified, but everything i found was either too weak or didn't really work. So off to Creo to design my own.
I printed it on my MK3+ at .2mm with 4 perimeters and 30% infill. I adhered a think sheet of rubber to the part that interfaces with the table top, this is not required though.
Note, the screw in my photos is shorter than the final model.
