I bought an Atorch DL24 to do some load testing on the mess of USB cables I have. I think it will also come in handy for other projects. It's a pretty nice piece of equipment, but I'd much prefer to keep my mitts off the PCBA. So this case is designed to cover those, while still allowing for cooling airflow.
The case prints in four parts. A bottom, which the PCBA friction fits into, the top which slides via a groove in the bottom (and can be snapped in), and two sides to hold it all together.
You'll need square M3 nuts and M3x6 Cap Head screws to assemble.
Tips
- Sliced file for site metrics only. Slice your own for best results.
- Supports are recommend for the top cover due to the scoop for the screen.
- The front, left pin for the PCBA isn't going to meet up with the hole. The model I downloaded to create this appears to have either been based off a different device or they simply missed on the hole pattern. It was an excellent model overall though, get one over on GrabCAD.
