Folding Folding stock for the FDL-3. Remixed/Inspired from the SIG Style by RegionThr33.
Improvements/Changes made:
- Improved rigidity across all parts. Allowing a M5 x 50 screw to hold the pieces together, hence improving the strength of the stock.
- Adapted the dimensions for FDL-3 to allow the stock to fold flat.
- Improved the model of the release button to be less reliant on print resolution and better folding “clicks”.
- Shorten stock to better adapt for FDL-3's length
Printing Instructions/Recommendations:
- PLA plus/max
- 0.4mm Nozzle
- 0.2 Layer height
- 15%-30% infill
- 4-5 walls
Certain parts require support - refer to pictures Support1,2,3 for guidance.
Parts needed:
- 1 piece of M5 x 50mm Screw (to connect the pieces of the stock together)
- 2 pieces of M5 x 40 Screw (to attach folding stock to blaster)
- 3 pieces of M5 Nuts
- 1 piece of M2 x 8mm set screw (or just any M2 screw) or a M2 pin (to hold the button to to the button flag)
- 1 piece M3 x 40 cap screw
- 1 piece M3 Nylon Nut
- 1 piece spring of 6-7mm diameter, 15mm in length
