If you're not sure which size to print, I recommend starting with the 4in model as it's more versatile. I found the 6in version to be too large and unwieldy when gluing 2"x4"s together.
I printed mine in PLA with 3 perimeters, 4 top and bottom layers, and 15% infill. It turned out plenty rigid.
