UPDATE 2023-02-20:

I've updated and uploaded the MCAD with the following updates:

  1. Properly centered the ESP32-S3-BOX
  2. Updated clearance on the button keys
  3. Made the A-Button keys asymmetric
  4. Made the X-Button keys symmetric
  5. Increased height of button keys
  6. Added spacing around keying features on buttons / top housing so they stick less
  7. Closed off the walls around the ESP32-S3-BOX
  8. Added mating pins in the plastic of the sides next to the box so they can be pressed / glued together
  9. Added the spherical cutout for the uSD card slot to make it easier to press
  10. Updated the USB-C port to match the one that is actually used / source-able

The files are in the root folder, with the original uploads now in the (OLD) VERSION 1 folder

ORIGINAL:

Hardware for a custom retro emulation system modeled after the Gameboy Color.

Runs NES and GB/C emulation off uSD card with a custom lvgl interface for selecting roms and configuring interface using the ESP32-S3-BOX

This was made in Fusion 360, link here: https://a360.co/3le5oCQ

Assembly: the PCB mounts to the top case using 4x M3x6 screws, and then bottom case mounts (through the pcb) to the top case using 4x M3x10 or M3x12 screws. The plastic is sized so that the threads of the screws will bite into it and hold it together.
