This little platic piece covers the tip of the climbing knive "Petzl Spatha" in order to reduce the risk of injuries when cutting harnesses, ropes or belts which are wrapped around a human.
The protruding part is ment to be placed between the body and the fabric which should be cut, so the blade is facing away from the body.
The plastic part is secured using a M3 screw and nut.
Warning: the knive is still dangerous and it is still possible to cause serious injuries to a human. The device has not been tested and has NOT been designed by an professional.
