Needed a cake topper for my wife's birthday, Vintage 1987. Printed with two colors on single extruder with post processing Gcode in cura.
Extensions>Post Processing>Modify G-Code
Add a script>Pause at height – Change Pause at: to “layer number” and choose one layer after it starts printing the crown. Be sure to park your print head at 0,0 (XY), retract your old filament, and maintain a standby temperature. For Method, I find that BQ (M25) works best and M300 for the beep reminder. Play with it a little, but that should get you close.
