Just a flexible bellow.
This might be usable as:
– damper
– spring
– hinge
– pneumatic actuator
– … you tell me
Ends:
– Ends are more massive for predictable behavior.
– Ends have indents for reversibly locking it into a counterpart with pieces of 3mm filament for mounting.
Features:
– optimized for air-tightness.
That is: Horizontal inner surfaces are fully averted.
– access holes for air
It might still be a bit too stiff to act as pneumatic actuator.
It has a different (much more nonlinear) spring character with the holes air-tightly covered (air-spring). It is short enough such that compression induced buckling is not an issue.
More details in the*.scad file.
There's also a round version:

Print Settings
Print with:
– high infill, maybe a bit more than 100%
– multiple perimeters
– infill interdigitating perimeters
Obviously you need to use flexible filament.
And thus most likely a direct drive. Except …
In the unlikely case you have an old Ultimaker Original and want to preserve speed from bowden tube printing, then you'll need an upgrade to a remote direct drive.
Like e.g. Flex3Drive / Zesty Nimble / ??? something DIY ???
I test-printed with TPU (brand filaflex) at 235°C
(Ultimaker Original temperature sensor)
Printer Brand: Ultimaker
Printer: Ultimaker Original
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.2mm
Infill: near 100%
