I designed this box featuring a Celtic knot decoration. The dragon is courtesy of my niece, she is a final year Fine Art student. She specialises in mystical creatures of legend and folk law. She has allowed me to use this model based on a much simplified version of her artwork and is happy for you to print your own. You can find out more about her work on Instagram.
I printed at a layer height of 0.2 mm, this means a filament colour change for the lid at layer 26, but check in your slicer.
There are two versions available:
- Locating pins help align the lid;
- Magnets in lid and base to align and secure for transport. You will need 10 x 4 mm x 2 mm neodymium magnets, and some adhesive (super glue) to secure.
Files should be in the correct print orientation for slicing - the top of each part should be uppermost.
Edit 25/03/2023 : Increased tolerances on magnet openings.
Edit 28/03/2023 : Increased height of base pockets to 21 mm (from 18) to accommodate the dice that I ordered - I assume they are a standard size.
