SRM PowerControl PC7 or PC8 Bicycle Stem Mount

Mount for your SRM. I can never find one I like for training. During training I like to have the PowerControl in view, so this will mount the PowerControl on the forks tube, in place of a spacer (above the stem).

I recommend using this after you have setup the tension on the headset bearings and tightened the bolts on the stem. Then undo the top cap, remove a 10mm spacer, side it down to replace the spacer and tighten up the top cap again. As the Stem has already been torque tightened the cap does not need to be super ‘tight’ against the mount surface, just tighten with a ⅓ to ¼ turn after making contact.

I have included a few angle designs. Depending on your head tube angle and your stem angle, hopefully you will find one that best suits your stem setup as we are all different when it comes to stem setup, so four different angles are included.

For a vertical angle fork tube (which obviously it isn't but for example), the interface plate of the PowerControl Unit can be 0, 5, 20 or -16 degrees.

I have included a -16 downward degree as I have a 74 degree fork tube and a 17 degree stem on a track bike, so this makes the PowerControl unit basically level with my stem.
