I made this clip to replace one that I broke when I was fixing the door lock on my 1994 Ford Ranger.  It's the piece that snaps onto the lock barrel and connects to the metal rod/linkage inside the door. This was specifically for the driver's side door… I believe it should work on the passenger door as well but I haven't tried. If it doesn't work straight away, you probably just have to flip/mirror it when you print it. If someone tries it on their passenger door, please post in the comments--thanks!

This (supposedly) works on the following door lock part numbers and Ford models, which I found on an Amazon listing:

XL2Z7821990AC, F87Z7821990BA, DL140T, DL111, Replacement for APDTY 140060

Print Settings

  • Use high-temp stable filament like ASA or ABS since this will be in the door of your car on scorching hot days
  • 3-4 perimeters for extra strength
  • Supports are required, unfortunately

One of the attached photos shows how it clips onto the lock barrel.
