Remix of the original Ender 3 sensorless homing spacer for V roller gantry by @willsside
- Added electric wire slot to accommodate my in-frame LED strip mod connection.
- Adjusted the length to accommodate my z-axis lead screw anti-backlash POM nut mod (this reduced my Z range to about 215mm, but improves reliability)
Below is my working macro for mechanical gantry calibration (sensorless z-homing) in Klipper
[gcode_macro MECH_GANTRY_CALIBR]
gcode:
{% set z_max = printer.configfile.settings.stepper_z.position_max %}
{% set oldcurrent = printer.configfile.settings["tmc2209 stepper_z"].run_current %} ; TODO: Find runtime current settings
