To celebrate the long-waited launch of SpaceX Starship and Super Heavy Rocket, here is a 3D print version of the mission patch.
No matter the outcome, it is going to be exciting!
The model is arranged to allow changes in filament colours through the print. Make sure to use layers of 0.2 for a better result.
Using layer height of 0.2 mm, the colour changes suggested are:
- Layer 8 - Black filament
- Layer 13 - Red/Orange filament
- Layer 13 - Silver/Grey filament
- Layer 19 - Green filament
If you are printing using a 0.4 mm nozzle or larger, it is not recommended to scale down the model as some parts of the model might not be printed properly due to the thickness.
