My grandmother had a part break on her quilting machine and no one makes or sells replacement parts. This is a replace piece for the ratching side. One version is solid the other has a hole into the part that broke to make the size of some old scrap hex keys I had that I cut off at the right length and then basically heat inserted it to try and reinforce it. My grandma hasn't gotten it put together yet but if it the noreinforced version breaks I will mention it here. My plan if that one breaks is to get it metal printed someplace probably.
