This is a project that I have spent around 100 hours on. It holds a 10x6mm 2 axis bubble level and the below stated microphone.

Mount the rig with the hot shoe adapter from the microphone, and put the microphone (the metal part) straight in to the mounting recession. The level mounts in the hole inside of the mic mount.
