I created a wallmounted logo of the german power-metal-band Powerwolf.

It includes 3d printed hooks to screw into the wall on which the individual letters can be hung.

For positioning i used a schematic printed on A4 paper.

Since Thingiverse won't let me upload the pdf, here is a link: https://pdfhost.io/v/OKdSwQa.8_Wall_mounting_schematic

This was printed on a CR10 V3 with a build plate of more than 30x30cm

If your buildplate is smaller you can try to downscale everything but you'll have to check if the tolerances still work. The positioning schematic would have to be adjusted too.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

CR-10

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2 (doesn't matter)

Infill:

12% (doesn't matter)

Filament: Sunlu PLA White (Black would make more sense)

Notes:

I printed this in white PLA because i didnt have black at hand. I painted the thing black afterwards with regular spray paint.

If you can, just print it in black, saves money on spray paint :)

For the gold part i poured golden paint onto a big plate and dipped the letters into it.

But ofc you can always just paint the thing by hand if you want the sides of the extruded letter to also be golden.
