This is a fairly simple Het-Set thread insert tool. it's simple to build and can be put together for $20-30 if you have a soldering iron that fits (soldering iron is fairly cheap if not).
Other things needed:
20- m3x8mm bolts
20-m3 t nuts
1-6mm x 16 mm bolt for bottom bolt
2-m3x10mm bolts
2-m3 nuts
3-m5 x 40mm bolts
3-m5 bolts
1-m5 metal spacer for 3d printer (can also print one <no file included> it's a simple spacer)
1-eccentric nut for 3d printer v-slot
3 v slot wheels-24mm OD

Threaded insert attachments:
you can buy one of these and take it apart to Frankenstein the parts (cheaper than bulk buying parts if you only need 3-although bulk is cheaper if you have tons of projects/printers)
