I have created a modifiable addon for the Godox V860iii flash.
About the model
- The STL consists of the slide-on section and a solid block, which can be modified directly in Prusa Slicer.
- on the sides, there is room to insert some short M4 Brass inserts from CNC Kitchen, to be used in combination with nylon screws. I did not use them in the end, as the attachment fits snugly on the flash and doesn't need any additional locking mechanism.
(I might add a model without the studs sticking out of the sides later)
Slicer Setup
- In the .3mf file I have configured a triangular Infill and removed the top and bottom solid layers using height range modifiers. This results in a nice grid attachment. Feel free to experiment with different fill densities etc.
Addidtional notes
- When using the attachment make sure you are not zoomed in all the way to 24mm. For black PLA the flash definitely has enough power to melt the grid when the flash tube is too close to the front. I have not had any issues when zoomed to 200mm.
