3D Model of the iconic IKEA Vattenkar board to be used for modelling or just to measure distances, etc. I also included a version of printable parts that I used to print my own Vattenkar, because I like it way better in Gentleman's Gray instead of the available colours.
The parts fit on an Ender 3 printbed, so it should fit all/most common printers, except perhaps the Prusa Mini. Otherwise you can use the included .step model to create your own parts.
Printing
I printed the 4 parts with 1mm top and bottom solid layers and a layer height of 0.2mm. I used 3 perimeters and 20% cubic infill with a standard 0.4mm nozzle.
Some of the parts have overhangs which require support underneath. Since the contact point of support structure usually bulks up a bit, I have made the overhanging areas a bit thinner to accommodate that. But even if that is not the case with your printer, the slightly thinner brims should not be a problem.
Assembly
To assemble the 4 pieces I used all-purpose adhesive. Make sure to choose the right glue for your material of choice (PLA in my case). The slighty thinner overhanging parts also leave a bit of room for the glue and still create a nice and flush top surface.
