Printing:

Wheel:

Use whatever material you like, feel free to experiment with color.

Printed mine in PETG with 0.15mm layer height with three perimeter walls (for when the Mariokart battle gets too intense) and 25% infill. While not absolutely necessary, use supports for the best surface finish.

Insert:

The fit of the joy-cons will significantly vary based on the material used.

95A TPU with two perimeter walls and 15% infill made my joy-cons slide with a bit of resistance so that they are firmly secured but still easy to insert and remove. 0.2mm layer height seemed fine too. Prints without supports.

Experiment with your own material for the best fit.

Assembly:

After printing, sand the mating surfaces and glue them together with epoxy glue, or any other permanent glue you have available. Setting the glued model on a flat surface (with a glue barrier so it doesn't ruin your desk!) helps with getting it glued straight.

ENJOY! Please post your makes! Let me know how it feels.
