I recently got a new car and live in a state that requires displaying a license plate on the front of your vehicle.

In an effort to avoid drilling into my bumper to mount the license plate I searched for an adhesive mounted bracket to no avail! So I made my own.

The holes are 5.5mm in diameter so that you can self-tap them with an M6 bolt. Use two strips of 3M VHB tape or your automotive body adhesive tape of your choice.

V1: My first iteration, the mounting pads are a little high for my car, and I felt it could do with some light-weighting.

V2: Adjusted the location of the mounting pads to bring them lower. Increased the size of the fillets around the screw posts for stability.  Added a chamfer around the outside edge, and skeletonized the face. Added my logo.

Printed at 0.25mm layer height with 20% gyroid infill in Polymaker ASA.
