This low-profile under-cabinet mount for the kitchen perfectly positions your iPad for using cooking apps or streaming movies and music while cooking, while also swinging up and out of sight when not in use. It could also be useful in a garage or workshop.
This model was optimized for a Prusa Mini+ and requires bonding the upper and lower parts of the holder together; however, if you have a larger print surface, it would be ideal to print the merged holder STL. This was designed for an (older) iPad 5th Generation's dimensions (240mm x 169.5 mm x 7.5 mm) and leaves a little extra height so it can be stored with its cover on, but may need to be modified for other device sizes.
You will need a 5mm aluminum rod to connect the mount to the brackets. Note: I printed the upper mount piece horizontally and it was a SERIOUS challenge getting the support material out of the hole. Consider printing it vertically instead; the hole should be much more clear that way. If you do print horizontally, be prepared to have to drill the support material out!
Unsponsored shout-out to AnyList, which is a fabulous recipe collector/meal planner/todo list app that's so useful in the pictured tablet landscape orientation.
TODO: the mount hangs exactly vertical, but ideal viewing position would angle the screen up by about 30 degrees or so. I'll eventually design some sort of clip-on support that angles the screen while in the down position.
