After extensive usage, the upper portion of my cats beloved tree began to show signs of wear, leading to an annoying wobbling motion. To address the issue, I designed and crafted an adaptor that securely screws into the base of the tree, with the superglued cardboard tube integrated into a 3D printed component. This has stood the test of time, lasting for two years until I eventually upgraded to a larger cat tree. The external diameter of the cardboard tube measures 2.375 inches, and while the design features a tight tolerance, it can easily be scaled to suit individual preferences.
