About

This design is heavily influenced by the design by Weedhaze, but my own.

Each organizer holds one Fireboard Competition or ambient temp probe.  It is designed to securely but not overly tightly hold onto the probe and wire.  It also uses the 2.5mm connector of the probe to hold the connector instead of the connector body should you decide to label your probes via heat shrink like I do.

Printing

  • 0.2mm layer height should be fine
  • PLA, ABS, PETG, etc
  • No supports

Modification

I have included the original F360 design file which is parametric so you can modify this for other probes via Modify → Change Parameters.

Ambient Probe Settings:
  • probe_length = 40mm
  • probe_diameter = 4.16mm
  • probe_base_length = 20mm
  • probe_base_diameter = 4.16mm
  • probe_connector_hole_diameter = 2.8mm
Long Competition Probe Settings:
  • probe_length = 75mm
  • probe_diameter = 1.8mm
  • probe_base_length = 18mm
  • probe_base_diameter = 4mm
  • probe_connector_hole_diameter = 2.8mm
Short Competition Probe Settings:
  • probe_length = 28mm
  • probe_diameter = 1.8mm
  • probe_base_length = 18mm
  • probe_base_diameter = 4mm
  • probe_connector_hole_diameter = 2.8mm

If you find the holes for the probes are too large/small on your printer you can tweak the probe_hole_diameter, probe_base_hole_diameter and probe_connector_hole_diameter values.
