Hex pattern net cup for NFT hydroponics system.
Designed for use with 2 in x 3 in downspout DIY hyroponics NFT system (see pictures) and 1.5in holes.
The net cups fit into 1.5in holes and are 2 in deep. The inside dimensions fit rockwool cubes 1.2x1.2 or 1.0x1.0 in.
The net cups feature water channels at the bottom to allow the nutrient solution to pass through. This is important in early stages to soak the rockwool when the plant's roots don't yet reach the solution directly.
To avoid algee growth, it is important to keep all water in the dark. The added lid protects the rockwool and plant roots from light and algee growth.
