I wanted a simple hook to attach to my garage door for my Klein Tools Glow Rod tube to fit into. This is based off the cable hook design I have seen around.
This hook is sized to allow the rubber ends of the tube to slide into the side. The top of the hook is sized slightly smaller than the clear tube size so it can squeeze in. Hook has the lip so when the garage door opens the rod doesn't roll out of the hook.
I am hoping this design holds it well enough to work on a service truck but will still need to test this. May need to size it down to hold the tube tighter to prevent shifting side to side.
