This is designed to extract any fumes from the printer enclosure but also be easy to disassemble when not printing as the two connections on either end of the hose just magnetically snap into place.
This uses a fan mounted in the window side connection to attempt to maintain a slightly negative pressure in the enclosure, this way any air should leak into the enclosure and never out
Parts needed:
- this uses a fair number of 10x5x3 magnets, 4 per magnetic piece (I used 28)
- 4 m4 bolts and nuts for the fan connection
- 80mm 24 volt fan (and related wiring)
- handle for the window cover (i used a store bought instead of printed)
parts:
- top left - printer side dryer hose magnetic connection and magnetic base (8 magnets)
- top right - storage for the outside vent and vent cover
- left - window side magnetic base (4 magnets)
- center - window magnetic cover (4 magnets)
- right - window side extractor w/fan (4 magnets, 4 m4 nuts + bolts)
- bottom left - enclosure internal power connection - 5.08mm terminal connection
- bottom center - outer grill for window mount
- bottom right - solid cover (the grill is this piece with only infill and no top or bottom layers)

pause or change filaments at this layer to insert magnets, prusaslicer file included already has filament changes at these layers

pause or change filaments at this layer to insert m4 nuts

to install the fan install the bolts as shown, this is easier than it appears in photo as you can set all the screws in place before installing the fan

the power cable for the fan runs through the dryer duct
