This is a knob for a corner valve commonly used in Europe. These valves sit on wall outlets for fresh water supply in apartments. These valves a cheap mass produced parts of mostly poor quality. Is is very common that the knob on these valves breaks of. Spare parts are hard to come by and replacing the valve requires work on the main water supply, which you may want to avoid.
This is why I created this knob. I allows you to use the valve and still shut it off. I designed a holder as well to store the knob near the valve or a spare one close by. I recommend you print two at minimum. If you need to shut off the valve in an emergency and the plastic of the knob breaks it is nice to have a spare at hand.
The knob is optimized for durability and printability. It is on purpose not close to an original knob.
Caution
The square hole in the knob is designed with 4,65mm. I recommend to measure your valve and scale the model appropriately depending on the valve size and the shrinkage of your filament.
Parts needed
- 1x Screw M3x20

- 1x M3 nut, alternatively to the threaded insert
Assembly
Insert the threaded insert in to the holder and put in the M3 screw.
Print instructions:

I would be happy to see some of your makes posted :)
