This model is very easy to assemble. All the parts slide nicely together. If you are struggling to put it together, hopefully the picture below explains it well. You could super glue the parts together, but I plastic welded mine for a stronger and more durable hold. The highlighted areas are the parts that need to get glued/welded together, yellow to yellow, and purple to purple.
It's not the best looking on the inside but is definitely strong. If you really care about the looks on the inside, you could super glue it to not deform the parts.
