This is a box designed for the Lolin Esp8266 MCU Version 3 and breadboard plate to be used with Home Assistant and other home automation platforms. I originally designed this in 2019 and have been using it ever since. It is very convenient to be sitting in your favorite chair and turn ON or OFF the things you need without having to try to get Alexa to understand your voice commands. You can even set it up to turn all the lights in the house OFF after go to bed, just push a button, or ON if you hear something go bump in the night, just push a button. Much more convenient than voice control.
It utilizes the Lolin Version 3 ESP8266 Node MCU and its breadboard base plate. When assembled, programed with TASMOTA, ESPHome, Arduino, or other software, and integrated into your home automation system, it can be used to control any device already in your system, i.e. (light, fan, coffee pot, etc.).
Wiring:
It is easy to wire, just run a wire from the pin (example D1) thru the switch to the ground pin. All the ground wires can be connected together at the switches and run to a single ground.
