This is my brasswool container for the cleaning of soldering tip I designed.

Note in the pictures you can see my logo on the top, the printable model does not have it but I recommend you insert your own.

It consists of two printable parts. The bottom, with a space for tin debris, and the cover for the brasswool. They fit together easily.

Take a look on my Instagram to see more pictures and video and to stay updated with new designs.

Parts:

brasswool_holder_bottom.stl

Bottom part with raised edge that fits into the top part.

brasswool_holder_top.stl

Top cover with the rasswool room.

Print & Tips:

I personally used Prusament PLA, 0.4mm nozle and the Prusa Mini+ as printer.

Depending on your layer definition you may need to adjust the tolerance to fit the two pieces together correctly. I printed with 0.15mm layer height and it's fine!

No supports for printing are required. I suggest you to use rubber pads to put underneath.

I hope you like it. 3D modeling is very fun but also very time consuming activity. If you liked it and you want to say thank you, consider a donation :)

Enjoy!!
