My neighbor has a half-dozen Hampton Bay LED Pathway Lights, model 1001 489 939. They include a cast metal (Zinc?) base and support for the cap/reflector with legs and tabs that are easily broken. In one case (see photo) a tab was missing right out of the box due to a bad casting. His lights are near where his sons play ball and most were eventually broken. I always prefer to fix rather than replace, and this was a good design challenge--and a chance to help a friend.
Careful measurements with a digital caliper were a good start but I still needed to learn how to ‘loft’ in Fusion 360 and iterate on the prints to develop a solution that fit perfectly. Its base ring slips over the upward-facing LED bulb and has holes that align with the bulb's three mounting screws. Most pieces I printed worked fine but a couple of the lights needed slightly longer screws. This design provides new legs & tabs to support the cap and successfully repaired all of his lights. I provided him with a few extra in case he needs them. Happy neighbor.
Print using whatever material and settings you choose. I used black PETG because I had some available, and enough walls to provide 100% infill.
