It allows you to mount it more rigidly rather than using provided soft washers that clamp onto all electronic components:
Or if you don't use those you will short or destroy components because they are placed too close:
The Melt-in version has longer feet that allow you to melt them for a more permanent attachment. But this version interferes with the provided bolt when screwing in place but works okay with the V6 nozzle as a clamping bolt. My recommendation is to print both versions and see how it works with your setup.
The Removable version is just for placing the adapter temporarily as a spacer.
I printed with a 0.3mm nozzle and it fits great. It is a very small part so the smaller the nozzle the better, but you can always try it with a regular 0.4mm.
