My black print in PLA is strong but was a bit rough testing it; perhaps with no raft this would be the go-to. Yellow images represent an ABS print that was brushed with acetone to smooth it out. Clear is PETG with lots of brim no raft.
Choose a smooth plastic like ABS or PETG.
Check layer height (I used 0.34mm) when slicing vs the small combs since those are only going to be a few layers tall.
Updated with picture of brushed ABS piece (green is color from my brush). Even though this was on a raft it feels the smoothest on the face and quite acceptable.
