I was enjoying some wonderful weather outside yesterday when upon taking a sip of my beverage from the can I discovered an unwelcome guest had stopped by for a visit. After frantically spitting out my stinging / biting foe I was determined to come up with a quick solution to prevent this unfortunate situation from occurring again.
This is a simple, yet functional lid for the standard 12oz beverage can here in North America. The lid sits on the rolled can seal with a skirt extending down below the can neck. It has a slightly loose fit for easy access the can contents, but should be snug enough to keep any flying insects out.
