You can measure:
- the extension of the router bit on your router table
- the distance between fence and router bit
- the extension of your circular saw blade
- distances with the still usable caliper jaws
- etc
The caliper used is a digital "Carbon Fiber Composites Digital Caliper" for around 5€.
You find it on amazon, aliexpress, etc. Other calipers very likely fit too, but I cannot guarantee for that.
The caliper is glued into the frame with a double sided tape. Assembly time: 5min.
