As a field technician, I spent a lot of time in my truck working on my computer and hated using the trackpad. When I grabbed a mouse, I would end up pulling my shoulder in to use the center console on my truck.
This design allows you to use the depressed portion of the center console cupholder and raise it up to a level platform for a more ergonomic position.
The parametric design allows the ability to change the following items:
- Cupholder width
- Thickness of the cupholder cylinder for added strength if needed
- Height of the platform (this is from the bottom of the stand to the top of the pad
- Width of the platform
- Length of the platform
- There is even an offset to move the platform away from center for better positioning
- a few other adjustments for aesthetic purposes
Printed in ASA with 20% infill and 3 walls.
