This creates a 3D printable substitute for a common ball bearing. There are many places where ball bearings are used in designs that do not really require an actual steel bearing, such as a rolling spool holder which spins slowly under relatively light load. A 3D printed 'bearing' may serve perfectly well in such applications.
Dimensions are configurable, with the option to produce a 'flanged' bearing if desired.
I have included ready to use STL versions of some standard sizes:
