I wanted a way to monitor my garage doors in Home Assistant and created this simple hinged model to mount high on the door as a self-contained unit.

Prints without supports (you may have to flip the sensor side 180 degrees to make it flat on the build plate). Recommend PETG, ASA, ABS, or nylon for durability.

No glue required - the sensor and magnets are snap/press fit. I used a short length of 3/32" aluminum TIG rod for the hinge pin, but the holes are a bit undersized and can be drilled to fit the pin of choice. Recommend a press fit on the sensor side and loose/slip fit through the holes on the base. The magnets are a stack of 3mm round neodymium and reliably trigger the sensor (replacing the included Aqara magnet).

I mounted using short self-tapping screws. Mounting directly to a steel surface may cause unreliable performance - recommend offsetting slightly so that the magnets do not lie directly over a steel/ferrous surface.
