This is a mounting plate for the KenTech Sonnet T-4660 suction cup shower clock

I have had two of these clocks now – perfect clocks for shower - no fuss, sets the time itself. The only problem is that if you tighten the clock against the screwmount suction cup too much, the plastic screw will break, leaving you with a useless suction cup, and no way to mount your clock (aside from using adhesive directly on the back of the clock.

I designed this mounting plate so that you can mount it to the wall, but still unscrew the clock to be able to change the batteries, manually set the time if needed, set an alarm, etc. The plate is designed to have some adhesive pads stuck to the back, and the plate mounted in a desired place in your shower.

For rigidity in the plastic screw threads of the plate, use a washer and scew in the hollow of the plate.

For the screw thread, I used Letusgo2Hell's Metric Thread Gauge - Nuts/Bolts (+Imperial) OpenSCAD toolkit for generating metric and imperial nuts and bolts. That model is itself based off a model from Thingiverse by Ryan Colyer.
