The K40 C02 laser has a very lackluster ability to laser material thicker than ¼". I designed this to be able to quickly adjust the bed between setups using 4 timing pulleys attached to threaded rods and a single bolt. From the top you can turn the bolt using a screwdriver/allen key and set your material to the focal distance.
My favorite way of ensuring is to place a speed square on the material to measure the height as it is adjusted.
